This past weekend was the anniversary of another British loss. (Assuming those folks across the pond are taking their 1-1 tie with the U.S. in the World Cup as a loss.) June 13, 1775, was the first naval battle of the Revolution. It was fought off what is now Machias, Maine. The British lost.

Typical Yank. Didn't understand the game well enough to know they didn't win. Oh well.

About 30 seconds of that 2 hours was very exciting--I am usually digging in the 'fridge or in the john when anything happens.
