the Italian salami is dried on the air for 3 to 9 months. In this time the thin white mushroom grow at the outside.

The German Salami, is not a real salami. They have two different kinds, one is just boiled in hot water (Brhwurst) and the other is smoked. Many of the the smoked German sausages are nor realy smoked, they only smoked for 2-3 hours and then they use a liquid artificial smoke.

The have really nice sausages in Germany, but the real Salami comes from Italy.

Better try the Leberwurst, the meatloaf sandwiches or the Bratwurst from the German Butcher and you will not be disappointed.

Braunschweiger - yummy! Just had it on toast for dinner.
I had the meatloaf sandwich for lunch and bought a T-bone steak for tomorrow night.
The woman owner told me they are having their grand opening tomorrow and will have lots of samples.

Stopped in, tried their samples. Bought bratwurst and will cook it tomorrow. Liked the pate' or braunschweiger and lamb sausage. It all looked good. Its nice to have more choices available. Too bad Caye Caulker is too small to support a business like this. I'll just have to keep making my little shopping trips to San Pedro.

Same for me. The sandwich I had was pretty stale and old tasting, but I bought it out of a basket sitting on the counter top, so I kind of expected that. Its about the same as getting something from Ruby's or The Baker and expecting it to be fresh. Theres a reason that its cheap. I guess if you just want something cheap and filling, then it serves its purpose. They'll probably do well with the Belizeans though, so best of luck. Nothing to write home about though.

However, I did try some of the sausage and pate that was out for samples and it was a nice change of pace for SP. I will probably buy some meats from them, but I will find someone else for my meals.

I cooked and ate my T-bone steak last night. Lots of flavor and tender. The best steak I have ever had on this island.
