Michael Fox passed away last night. we will miss him a lot....

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing away of long time resident, Mr. D. Michael (Mike) Fox. A memorial will be held at The Purple Parrot Bar on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 at 3pm.

I am glad for knowing him, he was a friend and a fellow musician. May he rest in peace.

Just found this image of Michael on my computer. Taken in the last year or so.

Oh wow...what a great man.I remember talking to him in depth about his illness when he seemed to realize his fate was not good. He cried and what was most sad was the light in his eyes dimmed...but for the most part he hung in there well. Great photo with the light still in his eyes.
