The land could have been sold hundreds of times over during those years.

BC's was built there with the understanding that is was a temporary site.

BC's has been at 2 other locations before this one. Maybe some people just don't realize the full history.

I imagine if Charlene is up to it then BC's might rise again in a new location some time soon.

The building was put together so as to be easy to take apart and relocate when the time came. It would appear the time is getting near.

When BC's moved to this location there was concern as to whether the spot would work out successfully ...... whether the patrons could manage a change of location. I think the success of BC's illustrates the theory "Build it and they will come".
Best of fortune to Charlene - my guess is that she's got a bunch of offers.

Realised it was the case out of town and wasn't being misheivous, for a change, but I didn't realise this had changed in Town Core. Perhaps I should open my eyes a bit as maybe the Mayors new (stalled) project is four stories too?!?!?!

That project hasn't stalled. I was stuck in traffic over the weekend, twice, while materials were delivered to that construction site.

Coconut's beach bar is now reopened under the name Sea Horse Lounge, and Margie is back doing a fantastic job running the bar!

I was refering to the little square Beach Bar that was just to the South of the present bar. It was run by Margie and Ada years ago. They were the first bartenders we got to know. Still good friends today.

LaurieMar, I agree. I don't like this kind of change. We should all be packed in there every day just in case!
