We'll be at Coconuts for at least 10th / 11th November - 5 of us are over from the UK, and we'd be very happy to share some Belikins with you !! When are you planning to be on Ambergris ?

Hi Marty, I'm doing a quick fly by - November 22 - 26th at Coconuts. If you are still there Belikens for sure. If not, hope you still have a great time there. I'm expecting Coconuts to be almost as great as Banana Beach. I stayed there in May and loved it, decided to try their other hotel and I'm sure it is just as nice.

Well, today I received 3 notes from Coconuts! I am now on Tropic air and Maya air. I think I'm leaning towards Tropic though. Last time Maya landed me at Municipal and put me in a Taxi to International. One of my pieces of luggage went in a different cab that followed me and the other stayed on the plane which flew without passengers to International! Not to say that Tropic doesn't do this, but I think it would be good to fly both airlines and compare.

Becky, I absolutely loved Sweet Basils and spent 3 hours and $50 there last time! It's a very dangerous place for someone who loves good wine. Maybe it's better that you drink it all up before I get there.

Coconuts is lots of fun and David, Karina, Margie and Ada are a hoot.

Sandcrab, now that I know the people at Coconuts are a HOOT I know I will have a blast, I thought I was the only person who still said HOOT!!!! LOL.

Gela, easy to spend $$$ at Sweet Basil's, I'm also going to try Capricorn this time. I went to Sweet Basil's one day by myself, ordered one entree and then took a burger to go and three glasses of pinot grigio, had to work my butt off at the healthclub when I got back but I can still taste that Burger, it was the best.

Becky, I think you'll like Capricorn. It might be better to go there for lunch though. I went for dinner in May and got eaten alive by mosquitos even though I was drenched in Deet.

Hey guys: I went to Capricorn for lunch by myself in May. Stunning scenery and delicious food. You will love it! Going back next May for sure.

Just got back from 10 days at Coconuts; everyone was very nice, esp. Jose from Honduras. It's clean and quiet and very conveniently located. We were v. glad to be staying there. One note, if you like protein in your breakfasts you may want to bring a jar of PB or something with you; they offer a nice spread of bread for toasting, fruit, juice & muffins, but I need protein to make it through a whole day of diving.
