Negativity? I think not. I have no agenda. Reread her posts. It is typical of someone that has absolutely no working knowledge of how things work here. Yet has every answer based on her vast experience of how things work in the states.Come, enjoy, get involved but don't presume to tell people how to run their world based on yours. Well, except for using the police as dog catchers. That's workable,right? Except for 2 very important things;1) they can barely get control of the growing (and much more important) crime issue.2)The police don't "belong" to AC. That's my agenda...

Thank you Mr. Callahan. I do apologize if anyone here read anything I have written as my presuming to tell people you how to run your world.
But last I checked MrNOBODY does not own AC or San Pedro either. I own property there and have nearly as much interest in the problems there as if I lived there full time. I wasn't presuming to tell anyone anything, I was simply offering suggestions as to what I have seen work because I have been involved in similar problems for many years. There is a difference between a presumption and a suggestion in most folks eyes. Considering that I have both a human interest and financial interests there, I think a suggestion here and there is not out of line. Its truly unfortunate when a person is willing to discourage someone from trying to help, but offers nothing but criticism themselves. His cynical, sometimes hateful posts sounds as though his signature should be changed to "Just another crappy day in paradise."

I know who you are. Leave my wife out of it, what I post here are my thoughts, resident or not.

Please be clear that nobody you know is not a town spokesperson nor does he speak for the message board. If only there were a "block" button here like there is on face book!

Anyway, everyone has an opinion and personally I prefer suggestions on finding solutions that are based on research that people have experienced and I really dont like hearing naysayers bashing people when they are not contributing anything positive to the discussion.

I will be interested to hear what the outcome of the monday meeting of the mayor will bring.
