Did someone mention my name? If you'll indulge me.....Hmmmmm first hand recommendation from me might be a bit bias....However, some of my favorites at the Black Orchid Restaurant include the Margarita Pizza, the Lasagna Boat, the Crusted Orange Rum Grouper, Rib Eye Steak & Scampi. Of course there is always a nice starter that could be a Mini BLT cobb Salad or Creamy Shrimp Dip served with Rosemary Baguettes....All made fresh all made on site......

I don't recommend often because places and ownership change so frequently. I can come down and 6 months later, the place I loved last time is "under new management". It's hard to judge. But, I will recommend places I have actually experienced if they are still there. I won't promote someplace I haven't personally experienced.
I will be there for my 24th visit in, let's see...nine days.

I have been a member on this board (under two names) for many years and if I don't disagree with a review...than I probably agree.

La Fruto del Isla needs to put her money where her mouth is by actually go to dine at this restaurant instead of finding fault semantically with somebody attempting to do a good deed by recommending it.
