Heading the workshop was Former Superintendent Rudolph Oreo and Francis Williams, both retired police officers. Oreo and Williams addressed the traffic wardens and taught them about customer care, public relations as well as traffic road rules. The traffic wardens were appreciative of the training they received and expressed that they are ready to deal island residents in a happy and professional manner.

The men and women of the traffic unit have certainly been out there in an active capacity this week...kinda like it. Had a few courteous exchanges and in one instance thanked them for their help. Got a big smile back and a "youre welcome Sir..." Just like our little home town department.
