The bird island got sold and the owner started clearing the trees and destroying the nests so wasn't much to see.
part of my love for developers and real estate agents, the flora and fauna of the island is changing, giving way to places like Grand Belize Estates. To answer your question, I got discouraged.

Didn't they get stopped? I often have guests that are interested in that trip if ever resurrected.
