Colindaco, I have been going to Usher for over 10 yrs and this is exactly what happened with that quote of around $2,000 US. That you have lots of cavities, that are cheap to fill here, but I expect he went on on how to save your teeth, veneers, crowns, possible teeth that should be pulled. He does that with me all the time. I cant afford all that so we come back to earth and he is just the best, Those with gingivitis etc can get cheap scaling. So you are taking your teeth too personally, not managing well I suspect.

Dr. Usher would never do that. Canadian Dentist sounds like a scam to me. I go to Usher, my husband, my employees, for about 10 yrs now, to be honest the only time I have been svcammed is in the U.S. may be the same with Canada.

One more thing is Dr Usher has done the same thing with me, he will give me a run down of everything that I should do to keep my teeth. The cost is high, but much cheaper than the U.S. I am 61 and all the things he said I should have done, well I should have as now I am loosing teeth. You are not at all a young person. If you were relying on a Canadian Dentist that was covered with insurance, or just to busy to care. Let us know how your teeth are in 5 yrs. I am disgusted by the medical system up north.
