Clash of the Titans
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
Is it King Kong vs Godzilla? Flexing of muscles or an expression of anger When the Catholic bishop expressed his church's non support For the Special Envoy and Women's Department 20,000 Women rally effort Quoting the Pope Man, Belize is heading down a slippery slope This one is surely no joke!
Does the layman and woman Truly understand how the bishop's stand will impact the nation? Knowing that the PM is a vindictive man And can be misinterpreted that the bishop diss di the First Lady's plan His government is running a perceived Anglican ministry of education That is responsible for giving schools subventions Is this a war of religions? Is this a fight against legislation? Is this a fight against corruption? Is this the sounding of the alarm for new elections? Is this a war against signed conventions? These are some lurking questions Is this indeed a clash of the Titans? If indeed the Catholics win round one Knowing full well there will be repercussions
Clearly the Catholic Church does not support the Gender Policy And is promoting the institution of the family, justifiably Subtly this policy is promoting US foreign policy Our government signed on swiftly being strapped for money To the promotion of lesbianism, same sex marriages and homosexuality When it has been proven historically that many great nations were destroyed When homosexuality and bestiality became policy For once I am in solidarity with my Catholic family
'Cause when a minister's wife catches him in bed With another man and lef am There is no question to his conviction So to the layman and lay woman I say I am for empowering woman But woman and man must be empowered hand in hand So that Belize becomes a better nation I support the bishop on his stand Even this is a clash of the Titans And I am a Muslim I subscribe to Islam Belize is a great nation we must stand together as one Burning the hell outa Babylon

The Cassava Minister
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
They mocked him the "Cassava Minister" and targeted his projects Before Chiste many of Belize's produce could not hit international markets Realizing this he brought in BAHA To regularize the health status of any and all products For local consumption and international export This was one of Chiste's signature projects This is one of his legacies that you hear nothing about
Chiste determined to help his nation Went to Taiwan Knowing that one of Belize's premier exports was shrimp and lobster However the practice of lobster catching for eons in country Made this an unsustainable industry He brought in experts to create a marine culture For crayfish production in this nation This would increase Belize's stock And not necessarily pressure the wide stock
Chiste was swarmed by the environmentalist That had and has no meaningful alternative But when there is a real program that is ready to launch This is what happens Chiste cultured the podia fruit that was never heard of in this country He was so skillful with the soil creating an artificial dessert environment With sawdust, sand and manure Making that plant feel like it was in its natural habitat Chiste came up with production of that fruit on his ranch These fruits sell at seven US a piece The first time any Sanchez saw the fruit was in mainland China in 2001 Those fruits were in the fruit bowls of five star hotels in China The lower class of people could never afford to eat that fruit
His tribute in Punta Gorda Was a platform to continue the thanksgiving To their work and their scholarship Of those who are contributing immensely to the local National and international development of Belize

Kerobe King!
By Abdulmajeed K Nunez
He was nicknamed the Kerobe King He was attacked for being daring and aspiring During a time when the Garinagu were organizing George Cadle Price was victimizing anyone that opposed him He was a pioneer in the establishment of St John Teacher's college He and his wife did pioneering work in, Pine Ridge and Succoth and a host of other Villages He was president of the Belize Tourism for the Central America Doing work in Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico and Costa Rica He can even be called one of Belize's human fathers He pioneered the agriculture show In 1951 San Ignacio Cayo Later it spread to all boroughs
Godsman Celestino Ellis was here for a brief stop But during his time this phenomenal brother achieved a lot He hailed from Honduras stock His visionary Belizean father registered him son in British Honduras He attended Sacred Heart Primary School in Dangriga Up to age ten, when he was approached by an instructor Eric Sebastian who requested that Godsman accompany him to Xaibe Rural Community It was in Corozal District he completed his primary Education Studies. It was in Corozal he learnt Spanish and got his appreciation for Mayan ethnicity
At 16 he passed the first class teacher's question paper Then he became a full fledged teacher At Sacred Heart Primary School in Dangriga. Raised by his grandmother who instilling in him culture and the spirit of attainment She was financially unable to assist with his secondary edification; As a result Ellis determined to embark on what would turn out to be a long teaching career. He spent several years teaching at the Sacred Heart Primary School Then he was drafted to attend St John's College in Belize City There he took part in a teacher's training course. He graduated from the training course with a Cambridge Diploma And went on to attend the teacher's college in Belize City He then took up teaching in the southern village of Dolores in the Toledo District.
After graduating from St John's College, he was asked to take up the post of principal, in 1951at August Pine Ridge in the Orange Walk borough. 1951 was one of the most unforgettable years of Godsman Celestino Ellis' life He was appointed as the principal of a school and that same year the he married the love of his life Ms Ethel Sampson, the woman who would remain by his side for the next 61 years of his life. He traveled the world, received numerous honours for his dedication and service to Belize. In 1957 he was awarded a scholarship to study in British Colombian, Canada, Majoring where he majored in soil survey. This field fortified his name in the agricultural sector of Belize for many years. He returned to Belize in 1961 and was appointed to the post of agricultural officer stationed in Central Farm. Godsman Ellis was instrumental in organizing the farmers travelling around the country to assist in the rehabilitation. After Hurricane Hattie's devastation.
In 1967 the need to open an agriculture school was grasped The Godsman Ellis took up the head man task He remained in that position until he retired at the age of 50. Being a visionary under his leadership the school was a thing of beauty, Ellis tried his hands at many things including peanut butter manufacturing business. We all remember Gabella Peanut Butter factory on Carillo Avenue in Santa Elena, Cayo. However external competition made it difficult for him to survive in the industry. His love for country led him into the tourism industry He was also did human rights advocacy Where he shared his knowledge with visitors from across the sphere As a trained professional and experienced tour guide Who had dreams of making Belize the number one tourism destination in the world. Ten years ago he travelled to Guatemala to share the natural wealth that Belize had to offer. His tribute in Punta Gorda
Belize you are welcome! A Garifuna giant who has been elevated to national and international stardom He was the trail blazer and a pioneer Who was instrumental in the formation of the first agricultural school of this nation He did not only speak agriculture but he demonstrated He was a man that constantly preached agriculture During the time he started the agriculture school his vision was clear That the students when they finished that school could fit the extension services That was a direct benefit to the farmers That is what is killing the farmers of this nation as we speak There is no effective extension service It is the same thing they did with the lands and survey department They kept the lands department And they killed the survey department Knowing pretty well that people applying for a piece of land Would never be able to afford a surveyor It is a deliberate attempt and if it is not so Let them prove otherwise

Belize and Venezuela
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
Belize and Venezuela became engaged in 1978 When the country got its first Venezuelan consulate Perhaps it was faith that their relations had to wait Belizeans had already set independence on their plate Venezuela was one of the countries that mediated For Belize at the United Nations for us to become an independent nation They were given two lots in Belmopan For a residence and their Embassy's construction The first is located between the Mexican Embassy and the British High Commission The other is near the Embajada Americana
They started international relations in 1989 The only Venezuelan president to visit Was Carlos Sanchez Perez For six hours, because he and George Price were friends They signed many agreements but never ratified Until Chavez took power in 1999 He made an addition to his constitution To consolidate the struggles of the Latin American and the Caribbean
Chavez started enhancing embassies in Caribbean And devise several schemes for integration Belize got its first Venezuelan ambassador in 2007 He came with a new vision and reconstructed the organization Prior to him there was just a head of mission It was basically a one man operation He formed political, social and communications arm Part of the operation was the consular's section for Venezuelans They worked closely with the Cubans Who had 122 doctors throughout the length and breadth of the nation
If the Madura government is toppled Jugo Chavez's entire program will be crippled ALBA, PetroCaribe, Mission Miracle and all the other social programs The Venezuela government under Chavez has highly regarded In their relations around the world Venezuela having the sixth largest Oil deposit in the world It is a call for disquiet Our current government and the way they have been doing trade With Venezuela, the funding and the programs has created much impact To the country of Belize but it could create more impact If the government would put a more friendly mechanism That those resources could trickle down To what Chavez described as the poorest of the poor Belize City would no longer be an eyesore
Venezuela has made numerous Donations to this nation Including the controversial twenty million From the Belmopan hospital renovation To the Marion Jones stadium But it's just till now they are being given their due recognition Including their many Miracle missions Their 4,000 barrels of oil a day for poverty elevation From 2005 up until 2009 So with the oil we have we could reduced the IMF's inflation And be well on our way to becoming an independent nation In one year the government could have raised three hundred million
Over 75,000 packs of fertilizer Were brought into to distribute to the small farmers Let's ask the people in the Ministry of Agriculture If in truth they sold them behind doors to the Mennonites And the cane farmers up north The country has not heard anything of the sort This has been withheld from the country's report Notwithstanding the Toledo small farmers Are still waiting for their quotas

Pappy show!
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
Hickory dickory dock The mouse ran up the clock The clock struck one The mouse ran down Hickory dickory dock
COLA standing up for social justice So their stance is supposed to be without malice Let me be candid COLA's initiative should be commended But this system is not to be trusted UDP acted in unity with the PM's malady Knowing the mandamus would fail Ensuring that in the meanwhile they could cover their trail But it was already known that this would be the strategy UDP does not want to stain their hands politically They need to maintain they slim majority They've know full well like Zinaida They could have fired Penner However that's not an option at this juncture It's all a pappy show!
Except for Johnny Briceno's father Who was arrested in America No other member of the house have ever been successful prosecuted In the 90s Musa was arrested For breaching the trust for which he was entrusted But he was never successfully prosecuted In fact he was vindicated So the country looked stupid This tactic is not effective It's all a pappy show
Meanwhile Maxell Samuel was accused of selling 300 passports Then 200 gone missing Both governments have been doing the same thing But he too was never taken to court In fact he had his party's support The US State Department revoked his visa So he can't go to nor pass through America A matter for which Said Musa said he was willing to answer Phillip Goldson was also accused But it was his spouse and Deen Lindow should be the true accused He took them to court and too was vindicated So why are Belizeans getting excited That Penner was arrested and is being prosecuted When Musa was first arrested for your info It was under the same MO It was one big pappy show His paparazzi was lone George Street gangsters From the youth officers from department on Gabriel Lane Had to be brought in to defuse and negotiate And set things straight
The second time 2008 Musa was arrested and prosecuted That's when Earl Jones's magistracy career ended He was vindicated despite the evidence Ralphonomics provided It's a chess game being played Someone needs to be the fall guy Buy design it is all one big lie Like Samuels and Musa we could try Penner won't be removed unless he resigns, is successfully prosecuted or dies The UDP knows this and their counter strategy has been well designed Belizeans open up your eyes But I tell you it is a big, big pappy show and everybody knows The rest of the world is sitting enjoying the comedy show! Largely because it was done before It is the hope of this government That this case will be thrown out after a few adjournments Making sure there is no indictment Especially since the Kim files have been mislaid A trick of the trade, someone has already be paid Absence of evidence there is sure to be no trial It's all a big pappy show

Urban Budget
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
Trick or treat money or sweet I got a headache listening to Shakespearian budget speech This clearly has no teeth! With a billion dollars being proposed to be spent Was there due consideration for the country's development? Clearly it's all about the UDP government Still trying to win the people's confidence Mesmerizing Belizeans with so called infrastructural development Belizeans don't need to be economists to see it This budget is just to ensure that UDP supporters continue to eat "Better cannot be done!" Remember! These were the words of the prime minister He forgot to say, "Then let worst continue!" Since this is the best that he and his technocrats can do Poor people's punishment will surely continue
The best analysis came from Requena and Mai While the ruling party was clowning about Ramin Laced with aluminum, food the digestive system can't break down Given to animals for them to calm down This is a reality that the working poor are living With poor people unable to buy pantry weekly, hence their cronies are benefiting While the national deficit keeps hiking With no mechanisms in place for the laypeople to feel the trickling Increasing 160 percent in twenty-six years With every citizen born and unborn owing seven thousand three hundred dollars Majority of the population is living every day on less than five dollars
The gimmicks in the house made my blood boil When will the citizenry start paying less at the gas pumps for oil? Belize City has too much constituencies Listening to this city budget means the districts will get nothing People in the South are still punishing Praying for the day the Commerce Bight port will be opening This to me is a most frightening thing The government can't tell the country they can't do anything It's high time we start constituency merging And stop the southern district marginalizing Its time our people start analyzing This budget passing will be a crippling thing Paying bad man to hold it down is not a good bargain We need to start lobbying
For the first time our figures are reaching one billion Certainly with no consultation from the opposition Is this how we develop a nation? How will it benefit the rural areas? There is still no electricity in San Narciscio and San Roman No Community Center in Santa Clara No police station in Libertad Dilapidated roads in Buena Vista San Victor Road is being built thanks to the cane farmers Louise ville and Concepcion still needing water reservoir Nothing for South West it is copy and paste A budget lacking in taste made in haste A government marching at the IMF's pace

Belize's Underdevelopment
By Abdulmajeed K Nunez
The enemies amongst us is crafty The enemy has made themselves our deity They even gave us ethnicity To keep us divided and in constant rivalry They even placed us strategically In different parts of the country They even denied us accessibility If it was not for cross country Which not a sport; initially they were brave riders who dared to travel the country We should also be grateful for Hurricane Hattie For opening up our country We need to acquaint ourselves with our own history
When will Diasporans realize That they are being victimized For fear that they will open their people's eyes The same way the Garinagu were ostracized and victimized The British were afraid they and the Creoles would organize Diasporans can see through the lies Those politicians prophesied Whilst doing the works of those they vilify Their citizens they victimize and ostracize Casting them aside Their own self interest they prioritize
Diasporans have analyzed and can't be caught by surprise Helping Belizeans and home and abroad to conceptualize That PUD is about this country's demise They seek to keep the country petrified Towing us along political and ethnic divide PUDP refuse to unite the country Like their masters they seek to control by telling us lies And following plans the IMF and IDB has devised
They call Belize a participatory democracy That propaganda - a hyperbole Our patrimony and lands are still being sold Their actions are discriminatory Especially if you do not conform to their party Partisan politics is killing this country Now they're using adds to hypnotize wi This will stop when Diasporans stop supporting three Horsemen DEEN, SEDI and the PINCHER when they go to Miami Begging the Diasporans fi money You all should support a new party Your support has been securing their victory As they continue to rape this country It's the same with the People's United Party Let's join forces and make history and take back our country
Mark King is promising To give squatters title Then soon the foreigners will be naturalized Belizeans open up your eyes This is how PUDP strategize Using the mass media to mind suck us They are no different from Chis- teef us -come- bruk- us They are not about developing the country They are content on harnessing dependency Budgeting at a deficit Rather than a profit They lack creativity, none of these jackasses are visionaries They have no creativity, no local incentives for developing industries No real plan to develop our ports They should be look at Singapore's efforts Being a power trader on the world scene These incompetent fools are killing the youth's dreams

Belize's Child Prodigy!
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
There are not a lot of women in Belize into IT She's a trailblazer and trendsetter not into conformity She's a visionary and wants good for her country She's big on educational accessibility Running on a political ticket is not for she She's been approached by PUDP, but she is for the community Not into popularity and all for national unity She developed and planned protocols and policies for the National Reform Party
Winner of the UWI 2014 Outstanding Woman of the Year She's one of Belize's pioneer female programmers Born and raised in south side Belize Still residing where she grew up Pallotti and SJC sixth form are her alma maters She was an early bloomer She went to high school at ten By seventeen she graduated sixth form once again That was when she began her career Started at social security then rose through the ranks She made inspector in three years
In 1992 an associated degree was rare Her group came in with associates Back then people rose through seniority As faith may have it this statutory body Was ran just like the other government ministries Then change came in policy allowing her to rise quickly She was later transferred for three years as an inspector in the cane industry She got married at twenty Then at twenty three she decided to go and study
During the Y2K she went to study computer programming She completed a three year bachelors study in twenty four months Then she won a scholarship to do telecommunications management This complemented what she was doing in programming Which again she finished in one year Then came back home and started her new career She felt as a teacher she'd make a greater impact In 2003 when she came back determined to give back
Determined to make a community impact She started a community based grassroots organization Focusing on marginalized women and youth She did some grant proposals for the Collet locality Capacity building with elders in her community She became very involved with heaven house Looking at areas where her volunteerism and activism would have the most impact She has served on numerous academic boards She does not subscribe to the crippling effects of politician Contributing brings her people out of their indigent situations Helping them to move forward at their velocity
Her passion interacting in her community So she pioneered the "We Dah Fi Collet" grassroots agency With a diverse group with the same aspiration Warding off many attempts at political infiltration Some left due to political seduction Ras Pita organized sporting competitions She and Fabiana Scott were encouraged people growth and development At grass roots level, focusing on nation building Starting with human capacity building She is indeed deserving of UWI's celebrating!

The Tale of the Two Cities
By Abdulmajeed K. Nunez
The Belize that you see is a smoke screen Let me explain what I mean There is a Belize for the upper class Then there is a Belize for the lower class They have perfected their propaganda I can't go to the border with Will Mehia UNIBAM is the agent for the US foreign policy or plan I can't support Greg Choc fronting for an oil company from Alaska US Capital would have never invested 20 million On a wild assumption it is all shenanigans 38 villages and one they swindled from the Garifuna With both governments emasculated into collecting agent for the International Monetary Fund
Ever wonder why during the 30-year civil war in San Salvador The Jesuit priests were the targets for murder They were siding with the elite against the masses to take over the lands Like the apartheid system in South Africa It was in Honduras they perfected their program Causing the deaths of thousands and the under development of the nation This is what triggered the rebellion Webber and Price closed down Lynam These Jesuits CIA operatives were sent to our region to fleece Fronting as priests, undermining the country's stability and peace Sabotaging the efforts of the locals toward economic independence Spreading their doctrine at the Garinagu expense
George Price opened the floodgates through the United Nation Having a new people settle in the best agricultural land of this motherland Their mentality has permeated throughout the nation When clear the land Castro was trying move black men to the land He was stopped because it was going to be a race war in the nation The Jesuit headquarters is West Landevar When the Council of Jesuits meets they decide who will rule our homeland Father Webber was ruthless man and he was able to offset Father Cramer's plan All the elite's schools in Central America are controlled by Jesuits hands This included Lynam, Cramer was to solicit the oligarchy of Central America to come to Lynam
San Perdomo and Price conspired to close Lynam That was to be the first agricultural university of the region Cramer was wise Jesuit his intention or plan The black boys was to be used to as the justification The contras Independence Agricultural School funded by the European Union It has nothing to do with the feed George Town and sounding areas Funding a elaborate structure for people in the banana belt Question yourself why those monies were spent Since the reality of Lynam was not truly felt
Belize is not for Belizeans they have appeased the foreign agenda Both governments sacrifice the masses for their own fortification Waging a war on the producers Supporting the importer in some cases who are minister brothers Remember the million pound of onions The Market Board imported from Holland? We even imported rice from Uruguay Shutting down our local Hill Bank rice producers Now they have their eyes on the cattle producers Some government ministries Have even taken the role of foreign agencies The Ministry of Health can be called Ministry of PAHO The Ministry of Finance can be called the Ministry of the World Bank and IMF The Ministry of Finance can be called the Ministry of FAO The Ministry of National Security can be Called Ministry of the US Embassy It hard to find a ministry for the people Therein lies the cause of our marginalization
Belize Child Exploitation!
By Abdulmajeed K Nunez
"The tourism industry is not to blame!" The CEO of the ministry of Belizean enslavement was quick to proclaim The taxi drivers and the tour operators are the one initiating it Who in their right mind believes that bullshit? Didn't the PM say, "For God sake stop it!" You all think he was only talking about the visa shizzz? Hit them on the hip you all are condoning it You all see an opportunity so you are exploiting it
Everyone is exploiting Belize's children Even those sworn to protect them The PAHO ministry of health has been killing them Those they don't kill with fake medicines they are disabling them The US security ministry Has been arresting, profiling, incarcerating, emasculating and criminalizing them Using their gang associates to assassinate them Whilst murderers, rapists and drug barons are finding Belize to be a safe haven The ministry of human enslavement and institutionalized dependency has been using, abusing and dehumanizing them With the unaccounted welfare system With BOOST, Pantry teaching them to beg The institutionalized ministry of confusion called education Indoctrinates, cultural desensitizes, trivializes civic pride and expels our young men without skillfully enabling them
The Human Rights Commission, Women's Department, NCFC, Community Rehabilitation and the National Council for Families and Children seems to have abandoned them Initially their mandate was to protect them Their silence has been deafening Have they joined the band wagon to exploit them? Just to earn a chair at the master's table? We need to hold them accountable
Two million of taxpayers' dollars Spent in an NGO, whoa! Have we seriously asked how the inspiration center will assist the poor? Why can't we build on existing structures anymore? Are we seriously about the people or just for a show Perhaps we are content that Belize is turning into a little Singapore
BTB is promoting child cruise ship prostitution It's now time for the special envoy's twenty thousand women strong! Or was that all about symbolism? What is the tourism minister's position? Like I said I've heard nothing from the child organizations Not a word from the human development minister But then again he just experienced psychological trauma At Mike's club on Regent Street where he witnessed a murder What about our children who are experiencing that nightly trauma Notwithstanding Santi wants us to believe his messenger was killed by a robber Meanwhile the "private dancing" minister's wife windshield was broken by a jealous ex- lover However, when she was undergoing her trauma, she was visited by the wife of Yowl Brinner and asked her not to press charges as it will affect the party in power She should be asking the private dancing minister What happened in Punta Gorda, involving his phone and laptop computer? But then again he is protected by the local media
