Power interruption 8:00am to 3:00pm Saturday, January 24, Belize City: entire Belama Phase 4 and Superintendent Arthurs Street. Two thirty-minute power interruptions from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. will also affect the portion of Belama Phase 2 between Biltmore and Benny's Apartments and entire Belama Phase 3. BEL to facilitate works to be conducted under the Ministry of Works' Flood Mitigation Project.

Power interruption 5:30am to 7:00am Sunday, January 25, portion Belize City: Douglas Jones St, North Front St from Mapp St to Victoria St, Cleghorn St, Slaughterhouse Rd and New Road from Victoria St to Douglas Jones St. BEL to restore configuration of distribution system following installation of overhead power lines to replace damaged submarine cable.

Power interruption 10:00am to 4:00pm Saturday, January 31, Belize City: entire Belama Phase 4 and Superintendent Arthurs Street. Two thirty-minute power interruptions from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. will also affect the portion of Belama Phase 2 between Biltmore and Benny's Apartments and entire Belama Phase 3. BEL to facilitate works to be conducted under the Ministry of Works' Flood Mitigation Project.

Power interruption 5:00am to 4:00pm, Sunday, April 19, Belize City: entire Coral Grove, Buttonwood Bay, Belama Phase I and the portion of Belama Phase II between Chetumal Street and Gwen Lizarraga Street. BEL to replace utility poles carrying high voltage lines and tension high voltage lines in Buttonwood Bay and Coral Grove.

Two 30-minute power interruptions 5:00am to 5:30am and 3:30pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, April 19: entire Belize City inclusive of all areas up to Mile 1 on Philip Goldson Highway and Mile 1 on George Price Highway. BEL to commission recently constructed Banak and Palotti Substations, which will serve as backup power supply for Belize City; and to relocate transmission structures on Mopan St and Lake Independence Blvd.

Power interruption 5:00am to 4:00pm, Sunday, April 19, Belize City: Nargusta St, St. Jude St, Mopan St, Hondo St; and portion Mahogany St between Mopan St and Sittee St. BEL to commission recently constructed Banak and Palotti Substations, which will serve as backup power supply for Belize City; and to relocate transmission structures on Mopan St and Lake Independence Blvd.

Power Interruption 8:00am to 2:00pm, Saturday, May 16, Belize City:

Portion of George Price Highway from Foam Factory to Faber's Rd junction, Faber's Rd junction to Krooman Rd and Krooman Rd. Two 5 minute power interruptions from 8:00 to 8:05am and 1:55 to 2:00 p.m. to affect Mile 1 to Mile 8 on the George Price Highway including Western Pines & West Lake and Mile 1 to Mile 3 on the Philip Goldson Highway, including University Heights, Coral Grove, Belama Phase 1 and Belama Phase 2 between Chetumal Street & Gwen Lizarraga Street. BEL to relocate high voltage lines from overhead to underground at the Faber's Rd roundabout.

Power interruption 9:00am to 12:00 midday, Sunday, May 17, portion of Lake Independence, Belize City: Electric Avenue, Gordon Street, Stann Avenue, Canondate Drive, Hyde Street, Raleigh Street, Jones Avenue, Diego Street, Balan Street, Riverside Street, Mokay Boulevard, Complex Avenue, Cumberbatch Street, Giles Street, Gladden Street, Brown Street, Lacroix Boulevard and Holy Emmanuel Street. BEL to install equipment on the power distribution system in the area.

Power interruption 8:30am to 1:30pm, Friday, June 19, Cayo and Belize Districts. Affected areas: portion of George Price Highway from its junction with George Price Boulevard at Mile 46 to Mile 30, including Cotton Tree, St. Matthews, More Tomorrow, Franks Eddy, Mahogany Heights & La Democracia. BEL to sleeve high voltage lines, repair lightning arresters & replace angle structures on the power distribution system in the area.

BEL crews have been dispatched to identify and rectify cause of unscheduled power interruption affecting portion of Belize District since 4:50am, Monday, July 27: Freetown Sibun, Gracie Rock, entire Boom Hattieville Rd including Fresh Pond and Castleton and Double Head Cabbage, Willows Bank, St Paul's Bank, Big Falls, Flowers Bank, Lemonal and Rancho Dolores.

Power Interruption 8:00am to 3:00pm, Sunday, August 30, Belize City: entire West Landivar area. Two twenty minute power interruptions from 8:00 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. will also affect the portion of Princess Margaret Drive from St. Matthew Street to University Drive, Lizarraga Avenue, Gentle Avenue, Meighan Avenue, University Drive and Moho Caye and area from Mile 1 to Mile 3 on the Philip Goldson Highway including entire areas of Coral Grove, Buttownood Bay and Belama Phase 1. BEL to conduct system upgrades on the power distribution system in the area.

Power interruption 8:00am to 12:00 midday, Sunday, September 13, Belize City: Faber's Rd between Central American Blvd & Whistling Duck Ln, including Madam Liz Ave, Rio Grande Crescent, Jimmy Dyer Ave, Singh St, Lionel Tillett St, Jaguar St, Price St, & Rio Bravo Crescent. Two 15-min power interruptions 8:00 to 8:15 am and 11:45am to 12:00 midday will also affect Ceasar Ridge Rd, Allan Pitts Crescent, Kraal Rd, Jane Usher Blvd, Levi Slusher St, Trinity St, Unity St, Louise Bevans St, Freedom St, Jabiru St, Butterfly St, Carl Thompson St, Heron St and Mud St . BEL to energize new high voltage line in Port Loyola & install structure on Faber's Road.
