Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye that the supply of electricity will be temporarily interrupted from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014.

Areas to be affected: Barrier Reef Drive, Pescador Drive and the entire area north of Boca del Rio.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this scheduled power interruption is necessary for the Company to energize a newly installed transformer at the San Pedro Substation.

Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye that the supply of electricity will be temporarily interrupted from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2014.

Areas to be affected: entire San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this scheduled power interruption is necessary for the Company to replace poles and insulators on the transmission line, replace radiators on the San Pedro Substation transformer and conduct maintenance works on several sections of the island's power distribution system. Previous postponements of these scheduled works, were due to weather conditions, which impact the Company's ability to carry out these works. Works scheduled for this weekend may also be subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Time change: power interruption 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 15: entire San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye. Power Interruption 6:00am to 8:00am, Sunday, December 14, San Pedro Town: North San Pedro, from Boca Del Rio to Tranquillity Bay Resort. BEL to energize new high voltage line in San Mateo Subdivision.

Cancelled: outage previously scheduled for San Pedro from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014.

Areas to be affected: Pescador Drive and all that area in North San Pedro, from Boca Del Rio to Tranquillity Bay Resort.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this power interruption is necessary for the Company to repair hotspots and energize a new high voltage line in the San Mateo Subdivision.

Areas to be affected: Barrier Reef Drive, Pescador Drive and the entire area north of Boca del Rio up to Perla del Caribe Resort.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this emergency power interruption is necessary for the Company to conduct equipment repairs at the San Pedro Substation.
