The question is how you have a right to access that land. On foot, bicycle, motorised vehicle.

If it's blocked, it's blocked, unless your Evil Knievel your rights are a moot point if your trying to get by La Perla or Portifino.

Perhaps you don't have that right of access on a Motorbike. You could always dust off your chainsaw again Elbert ;-)

I need a permit to carry a concealed chainsaw.

We took your advice Diane and no need for a chainsaw thank goodness. On our trip back from town it was raining so hard we decided to go thru the puddles or perhaps I should say lakes. Knee deep water, it was pretty unpleasant! Wonder how many loads of dry core that area will need.

A couple of dump truck loads of gravel have been put in the road behind Capricorn and you can get through. Still a mudslide and you can get stuck but not impossible as the last few days.

A group of us is coming down on Friday. How is the road between the bridge and Captain Morgan's? Thanks.

The road is truly getting better every day, I went to Morgans just and hour ago from the bridge, but just before Captain Morgans, behind Capricorn and Pescador is the worst spot on the road. Serious deep water and mud, they dumped a couple of truck loads of red gravel in it before the rain but it's back in bad shape now. It seems they are conscious of the problem and working on it... not probable it will be fixed before Friday.
