Big rains today re-flooded (is that a word?) our area. Deeper puddles on inner road are 8". Have seen worse rains, but the ground is saturated now and when it rains it stays!

Your area is North of Journeys End, correct?
I saw the road behind the Mata Chica area and around Mata grocery, pretty rough, almost hafta call that impossible to pass, gets worse North of the Grocery.
Mata Chica, La Perla, Portifino, Canary Cove, Blue Reef and Sapphire Beach are cut off by land.

From the curve past Palapa Bar to Grand Carib was graded the other day in an attempt to level it out. Then they dumped some hard core in a few places. Now there is a lake as far as I can see.
Very interesting thing that I just learned - our rain is full of dirt. Was I the last to know? My pond has been crystal clear and there is no runoff into it. Over the last two days it has become full of silt and my caretaker says when he cleans the filter every day it is full of white dirt. Not sand - dirt.

We went all the way to just past Indigo on Tuesday, then had to turn around as the path was really flooded. Saw two stranded golf carts in the "puddle".

Road by Mata Grande Grocery is way under water. Don't even try today.

Just north of Indigo, where the big lot is cleared, seems impassable. Problem is the road behind Mata Grande also has one huge (soft) stretch where you pretty much get stuck.

We need a bunch of fill up this way, less no one is getting past Indigo anytime soon. Which is a drag going into the busiest time of the year.

It's been dry and the road from Journeys End to town is very doable.
The cement guys are on holiday of course but all and all the road project is coming along fast.
Heads up on a couple of homemade speed bumps Grand Caribe has put out.
