Just how close to the VH resort is that croc? Should we be worried!!??

Dumb question...crocs are fresh water, right? (they aren't going to join us while sunbathing on the beach???

Great pics...your "beautiful beach" pic, #35, is in front of Coral Bay Villas.

The croc was behind VH, over by the water tower. I think it was salt water though. He was a big guy. They call him "Satan", I believe. The locals there say he doesn't always come out. We just got lucky...if you call that lucky! ha! It was pretty amazing though.

Salt water, huh? What stops those big guys from swimming right up to the beach?

They stay on the other side of the island (across the street from VH) by the water tower. It is more "swampy" back there and secluded. The water is real murky too. I don't think anyone would be swimming over there. No need to worry.

Thanks...I feel a little better! I love wildlife...but just don't want to disturb or distress it by my presence!
