OUCH!!! 5 dollars a beer?!? So who has the best (cheapest) happy hour on the island?

No, no, Belikins aren't $5 a piece but I drink cocktails that are not rum based, so my "imbibing" bill is higher than someone that drinks only beers or local rum drinks.

Belikin is $5 BZ in most restaurants and bars. Once in a while you will find it for $4 BZ.

Rum and Coke or other soda is usually $3 or $4 BZ and Rum and juice - $6 BZ.

Mixed or frozen concoctions are anywhere from $8 to $12 BZ depending on where you are buying it from and how many shots are in that particular drink.

Top shelf brand Liquor...(anything that isn't local) is also between $8 and $12 BZ a shot.

I learned to like Rum and Coke real fast....LOL

You can get a better deal on beer if you go ahead and buy a case from the distributor and keep it in your room. It will cost about $38 BZ for the beer and another $10 Bz or so for the deposit on the crate and bottles. You can turn them back in b/4 you go for a refund.

Most hotels will order it for you and stock it in your room if you ask. Just make sure you agree on the price beforehand.
