Reef Radio's is across the street from Fido's. Kind of a restaurant/office.

My question would be who would buy? The tourists probably would not buy anything except something a local band put out that they can not get back home. The general population does not have the disposable income to buy CDs. My first impression would be: not enough volume to pay the rent and you need to eat too.

Jester, Have you been to a flea market or used music store lately? People are actually buying that old stuff as long as it isn't too scratchy. Sometimes it is the the album cover itself they want. It is amazing what people collect. Sorry I don't collect old vinyl. Got rid of mine years ago, during a move. Indygal

Good god -you experts -"there is not enough disposable income to buy CDS"-where do you think Belize is?-in the artic circle where barter is the name of the game-there are three CD shops in San Pedro -please do not be so condescending.

Very good point Pedro. I like the way you delicately choose your words. Especially when you take into consideration property values, the net worth of many, many, San Pedronos is more than the "condescending experts" who visit there. They just don't show it off the way some visitors try to do. laugh

By the way god is God in American. I don't know about english, oh excuse me English. You are the expert on that. :p

Thanks for that interpretation. All this time I thought I lived in San Pedro. Now I know I live in San Pedra. Plus, it is still English, not english.I guess if we combined our knowledge of grammer, we could act as one. smile

I am not sure both spellings are not acceptable. But, even if I am wrong, please allow me to continue with San Pedronos. I do not want to end up trying to find San Pedra.

That is why I never got good grades in English. Sometimes it just doesn't follow common sense.

I did not say nor mean that there are NO Belizians able to purchase CDs. You are awful quick to jump to conclusions about my attitudes. I was asked if I thought a record store would be a good idea. As in a good venture.

Peter - if you have an opinion give it or do you think all questions should just be addressed only to you?

To all the wealthy and almost wealth people of San Pedro - no offense - somewhere I got the idea the the medium income was under 24,000bz a year. But, Peter has set me straight, there are a whole lot of wealthy people just waiting for another music store in San Pedro.

Did I get it right Peter-big portion of population - lots of money to spend?
