You can avoid most of it if you are not into that sort of thing. It's not bad enough to infringe on your vacation, especially if you stay North.

If you want to come here and drink yourself silly (no, you'd have to be that already) then it's easy, and you'll find plenty of companions. But if you want to come for snorkelling, diving, fishing, mini-golf (new!), fine dining, relaxation in the sun, and just "hanging out" you'll find that very easy as well, with a lot more people to do it with. A resident today said to me that AC was a bit like California in the sixties. Maybe she was right, but even in flower power SF most people were as level headed and hard working as they are now. No, have no fears - you won't find any Hooray Henrys in the streets.
Anyway, you say above you want to stay north, yet you've chosen Caribe Island. That isn't north of town.....

So you guys are telling me if I stand on one foot and throw sand over my left shoulder I can drink a Belky subsequent to 6:00pm. Assuming both the tide and my "snorkle" are hanging low and left?

Really though, is there a curfew on Drinking Booze?
