USNA73 and alaurieb - Because our schedules are a little off, it looks like we ought to plan to meet up on the evening of June 15th to celebrate. We have no specific plans yet for that evening, but we are going fishing with Capt. Bicho that day. Before you leave USNA73, let's try to set up a meeting place for all of us.

Sounds like a plan!

All: I was able to squeeze another day in. We will now be in paradise through the 17th. I understand the thoughts about long vacations. We usually do three+ weeks at a stretch, but this was a late planned trip after we had made other summer plans. I guess we'll just have to come back again...

Bring you own floatation device. They give you one of the cheap orange life vest and they put it around your waist. It did the trick for me and gave me the security I needed, but boy was it uncomfortable!!!

I see you have a reservation with Capt. Bicho for June 15th. So do I!! My wife and I will be in SP 12-19 and will be with Bicho that Tuesday. We initially reserved just a half day, but coincidentally I e-mailed him about 2 hours ago to see if I could get a full day. I haven't gotten a response. Do you have a full or half day planned? It's funny how much you can learn on this board!

jford,
We booked a full day on june 15th, if you have a half day booked then I think cap't Bicho may have overbooked. Probably a oversight on his part. Please double check and let me know if this is correct.

Bicho ( I understand ) has 2 boats, his son runs the other one. I would check to be sure.

I just heard from Capt. Bicho and we are confirmed for June 15th full day. He must be using more than one boat.

jford,
I also just heard from Cap't Bicho and he does have 2 boats. Maybe we will run in to each other fishing or snorkling. Have fun!

The "cheap orange life vest" brings up images of the old Mae Wests. Immediately followed by the not so fond memory of major league uncomfortability...
