The first time I got hit with a bad case of Pica Pica I was told to go to the government free clinic even though it was well baby day. Nurse Natalie took my demographic information and within 5 minutes I was called in to see Dr. Otto Rodriguez. He wrote a prescription and told Natalie to give me an injection. She then told me to go three doors down and pick up the medications.
I asked if I couldn't pay something. I was told they would take a donation so I signed over a US $20 travelers check.
A week later I took a turn for the worse and walked into the clinic. The woman in the office waved for me to sit down in the outdoor waiting area. In less than two minutes a nurse called me by name and asked me to come in. We went through the same routine
and as I was making my donation I asked the woman how it was they knew my name.
She said, "You were here before, I just pulled out your paper."
I was not their more than 10 minutes either time. What a miracle.
Since then I have had extraordinary care from both Dr. Dan and Tina.
