It is amazing to me how seductive SP is for some people. This past August trip was our third time down and we were there for two weeks. Irm and I both thought maybe next summer we would go somewhere else instead. Well after looking at other places we are drifitng back towards spending our 20th anniversary in Belize. Each of our three trips have been special in a different way and but this last trip was really really amazing.

LaurieMar - we didn't make it to BC's on 8/15 - we were however at the Palapa bar (ran up an $80 US bar tab that afternoon drinking Matai's!) and at the Hammock House that evening. Sorry we missed you.

Coco - have a great time in January - the time will pass quickly.

Egcntrk - best thing to do is start planning your return trip on the flight home- makes you feel much better

Saw your message last night while I was doing closing paperwork (yep, even here, there's paperwork..) and got all misty and stuff, miss you all...heck, the whole island misses our far off friends these days. mobunny, I began planning a return before I left! Took every ounce of self control not to turn right around & book a flight back to AC when I stood at the entrance of the domestic terminal...all that noise & confusion.

Kathy, would go to AC over Hawaii, too. You're not alone...do tell about your trip!

Beachy, actually did "meet" you at the big Supermarket but didn't get to the restaurant for a bite. So much to do & so little time! Maybe next trip I'll get there

Geeze, we now live in Maui and even though I can lay in my bed and look out the window seeing the majestic Haleakala as well as the white caps rolling onto shore, I TOTALLY miss AC! If we didn't move here in November I coulda been to AC at least twice by now. So boo hoo for me too! I thought we were moving to Belize...
Gosh Kathy if I read the board sooner we could have met for lunch and commiserated over a maitie or two! That would have been nice!

I knew you lived in Hawaii, but didn't know it was on Maui. We spent 4 days on Maui and then went to the Big Island for 3 days. So sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. Maybe we can meet in San Pedro some day. Kathy

Mobunny - there are 5 of us from Aztec, NM making our first trip to AC in November - I haven't even been there yet, and I already feel your pain! NM is such an awesome, beautiful place, but the tropical ocean has such a powerful call... can't wait to get to Belize! Chris
