Anyone have a new website or contact info for the SPFFC (former tennis club)? Does Oscar's teach yoga or Pilates?

The tennis club has a beautiful, large freshwater pool. Of course they have tennis courts, air conditioned fully equipped gym, they have water aerobics classes, pilates, yoga, dance classes etc. Nice little pool side bar and restaurant - great for those of us with little kids.

I think daily rate is around $20Bz.

Not knocking Oscar's gym, but if you work out like I do - by watching others while I sip a cool drink by the pool - the fitness club works well.

Their phone number is 226 2683. I think they might be internet/email challenged.

Thanks. Yes, I have seen the place. Nice. I have a friend coming to the island for a month (mid Oct- mid Nov) and she is an awesome yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics instructor. She may be interested in volunteering a few classes while she there so I said I'd get her some contacts.

Amanda...your such a voyager. eek eek cool cool My suggestion is Paisano's Health Club. For $5BZ, he will lend you a conchshell and wirebrush to walk around with all day!! ...and who is fitter than Paisano...ABSOLUTELY NO ONE!!!!

Yoga eh? Sherrie would be very interested in that. We live near the health club. Very nice outfit as far as I can tell. Is it a good idea for me to get a few yoga mats to help out?

Last time I was at the tennis club they were pretty well equipped with mats, thera bands, etc. If it becomes a reality and she gets some classes scheduled, I will post them. She is an awesome massage therapist (and unique massage technique teacher) too. If anyone has any other ideas, I am sure she will be interested. She wants to contribute, occupy her time and would probably be willing to barter her services for tours, meals, etc.
Amanda - Looks like your "work out" technique would fit into what we call the " Taos tri-bathalon" - sauna, hot tub & steam room! wink
