GRAY ANGELFISH : Pomachanthus arcuatus - 16 inches long. Usually in mated pairs, feed on sponges.

BASKET STAR : Astrophyton muricatum - 2 feet long. Hide within recesses of the reef by day, but emerge at night and spread out their baskets-like arms to filter plankton from the water.

COLONIAL ANEMONE

GOLDEN CRINOID : Nemaster rubiginosa - 14 inches long. At night commonly perched high atop coral heads and sea fans. Generally hide their central disk and grasping cirripedia within recesses of the reef. Filter feeders using "sticky" arms to trap food.

RED HERMIT CRAB : Paguristes cadenati 2 in long. Prowl the reefs by night, but stay under cover during the day. Live tucked inside a shell which they exchange for a larger one as they grow.

SPINY LOBSTER : Panulirus argus 16 in long. Primarily nocturnal feeders, but will take advantage of daytime opportunities. Seek refuge during the day, emerge and feed on variety of foods at night.
