 
Johanna Sasmay will be representing El Salvador in the Reina De La Costa Maya Beauty Pageant, which will be held on June 21st, 1998, the opening night of the San Pedro International Costa Maya Festival. Eighteen year old Johanna Sasmay was born on May 10th, 1980, and is presently studying Communications. She is a professional ballerina and model. One day she hopes to become a television broadcaster and dance professionally in the theater. Miss Sasmay enjoys sports, dancing and reading. She is five feet five inches, weighs 105 pounds, is a size five/six and her measurements are 36, 24, 36. Ms. Sasmay is one of five contestants vying for the title of Reina De La Costa Maya 1998/99. Friday, July 24th - Honduras Night: Grand Banda. Saturday, July 25th - Belize International Night: Main attraction - Garibaldi and Belize's number one band - Santino's Messengers.
