 
By Angel Nuñez, J.P. The San Pedro Roman Catholic School now has a new classroom. Indeed there had been a shortage of one since they opened classes in September. Dr. Lala and his team of air-force workers were to do that project but it never came through. Then the motion was presented at a Lions meeting and there was immediate enthusiasm. It took 2 Sundays and now a set of keys has been presented to standard six teacher, Mr. Vidal, in the absence of Principal Mrs. Lanza. Mr. Vidal also assisted in the carpentry and has promised to do the painting. Lions have also promised to do the electrical wiring of lights and ceiling fans when materials are available. Requests for cash or other contributions from the community was 0% up to the last hour. Indeed there is obvious lack of cooperation from parents and other organizations. At work time Sunday, Mr. Roger Acosta turned up with a donation of a lovely double 40 watt flourescent fixture, and the Lions made a collection to purchase 5 windows, one door and the steps. All in all it was a successful and fun project.
