Hey NYGal,
Well, I know what you are feeling and I feel for you. Therapy is a trip, I am not a very coordinated person, so these things that they make you do, I probably could not do if my ankle did not hurt. I went back to work yesterday after a month, rode my forklift and the clock never moved, but my ankle swelled and it was throbbing. You have to figure, one month or laying on the couch and have your foot up and no shoes, gee, I would fit right in on the island that is, going to walking on a hard concrete floor, moving my foot up and down and sideways to drive and wearing shoes for 8 hours, 10:30 last night when I got home was not a pretty site. So there I sat back to the ice and the pillows, only to do it again today, cannot wait til Monday, for I am off,gee that would mean therapy again.

Good Luck girlfriend, I feel for you!!!! At least I did not have to lug a cast around with me, I just now have a cool brace. Your top six were my complaints, to a tee, could not go outside to sit on the porch, the TV,even the soaps were getting a little to much,no body to talk to except the message board-which with all the arguing and fussing who whated to be involved,muscle tone, not only in your calf, but you could see your whole body going to flab. Also I got razor burn the first time I shaved, I guess it was something new after a month.

Oh, darn it Jackie, that stinks ! My foot hurts thinking of what you went through. My mind works overtime trying to think of 'how' I will even wear a shoe, let alone thinking of wearing it all day at work ! ! ! This is a challange, for sure.

Yes, the board was getting stale, that's why I started complining, for my own sanity. I knew I could get theraputic help here ....Thanks everyone.

Jackie, that sounds so very painful - hope you get to feeling better soon! Living with that brace cannot be easy either. Walking on sand sounds better than cement floors - stick with it, soon you will be back to AC, and your foot will thank you! At least the weather has improved.
