A few showers and thunderstorms will affect mainly southern and central portions of the country today, then mostly the south tonight, then spread to central portions of the country during tomorrow.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... Rain at last. I am not sure if the rain is from the low Caribbean clouds or from the high level ITCZ caused clouds, but it is the high cloud that is now streaming over Belize from the SW that is causing the rain over most of Belize. Not sure if the north is getting any of this. The normal Pacific winds from near Panama that blow over southern Central America have, presently, moved further north and coming over Belize. I expect much of today to be cloudy, with more rain for south and central Belize, some sun later today. Temperatures in Belmopan : Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Thu, max 33°C 92°F Last night min 24°C 75°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )

OP Marty	glad you like em!!! From Belmopan.... Heavy rain around central Belize earlier, I measured 15mm ( 0.6") There has also been rain up in Corozal. I suspect a lot of rain down in Toledo.
