Diane Campbell	I'd like to use this forum to say a big thank you to a weather-watcher who has given so much of himself to the people of this island. Frank Panton, meteorologist, hydrologist and community volunteer. He has tirelessly served the community in a variety of ways, especially as a top advisor/volunteer for NEMO during heavy weather. Frank has recently become incapacitated with a serious health condition. He has had to resign from NEMO and other activities. He is traveling to Merida today for consultation. There have been dollar drives and food sales ..... Please reach deep and do as much as you can for this man who has always been there for us. Contact the offices of Flowers and Salazar if you can offer assistance. And please say prayers. THANK YOU FRANK for all you have done for us!!!

OP Marty	From Belmopan... The Pacific winds curving down from Mexico are bringing significant cloud cover but no rain. The Caribbean winds from the east therefore have more cloud, due to the higher level cloud, but again, no rain. Looks like much of today will be another hot muggy day, with a lot of cloud and only a little sun. The mugginess is mainly due to the fire smoke dust in the air, rather than humidity.
