'Bitz,' also called bri bri, a sweet seed pod treat
So I was part of a group that went to do a cleanup in the Mopan River after the massive floods. One of my colleagues approached me and ask me "would u like some bitz" I looks at him and laughed and he said "no I'm serious" so he shows me this strange fruit accordingly called "bits" here in my town (Benque). Indeed I tried it and it was delicious. I brought my seeds back home and I placed them in dirt, hopefully I get Lucky and get some trees.
Also called guama. This is an inga species (inga edulis, or maybe Inga vera). Very sweet and mellow, grows wild in the forest, also found on the banks of the Mopan River from Succotz to Benque.
