Terry and Thiers Hamman. My mom and dad (circa 1960- pre Hattie) in front of a small hotel/restaurant my dad built where Ramon's now stands. The structure was destroyed a year later in the hurricane. Miss you, Terry and Vern/Thiers Hamman!

My first San Pedro Carnival - this was 1958 when I was 5 years old. L-R: The beautiful little Indian girl to the left is Neria Arceo, then Holly Hamman Creel, and that handsome little boy is Tavo Arceo, and then a girl named Elena.

Two pictures from my parents, Vern, or also known as Thiers Hamman and his beautiful wife Terry, who first visited San Pedro in the late fifties. Not sure of the year these pictures were taken. San Pedro, years ago. And Rocky Point, a place that holds a special place in my heart. Love Ambergris, always, and miss the island my mom and dad made their home.

The picture of San Pedro is pre-San Pedrito and of course San Mateo. So probably taken in the 1970's?
