Home to a colony of rare booby birds, and an amazing number of hermit crabs, this is one of the few places in the world you can see these birds. And there are a million of them. You climb a tower and look out on the canopy of trees, and see birds flying and nesting everywhere in your view. It was almost dark when we got there, so I was unable to capture this on film....bad excuse,I know...

The hermit crabs, if they were human size, could snap telephone poles in two. They would eat you if you just laid there and let them! But if you sit still in the palm trees, you can certainly hear them cruising around. Seeing them is no trouble, listening to them is a little different...
