Tim and his wife Denise have owned a condominium at Seven Seas Resort for many years and still do. They loved the island and got married in a simple but lovely island style wedding in the tropical garden surrounding the swimming pool at Seven Seas Resort on February 10, 2003. In keeping with the island attire they were both bare footed, see attached photos.
Tim and Denise were loved by everyone the island that knew them.
Tim requested he be cremated and his ashes spread in the Caribbean Sea in San Pedro.
Denise said that would be considered as a memorial to him. I have offered my services for the memorial and spreading of the ashes. A date and time will be announced at a later date at the convenience of Denise.

Tim Haley, age 68, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Minneapolis passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 2, 2016 under the care of his loving wife.
Preceded in death by parents, Jim "Clem" and Jane; and brother, Billy. Survived by wife, Denise; daughter, Tamara (Bob) Cheney; and son, Chris (Kristy); grandchildren, Ana (Alex), Jackie, Toni, and Deaven; and sister, Mary (Bill) Sylvester.
Tim retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of employment and in his free time he loved fishing, hunting, bowling, photography, and spending time with family and friends. He was also an avid Twins fan, lover of science fiction, and enjoyed having philosophical discussions. Above all, Tim looked forward to his winters in Belize; where he and his family have made many wonderful memories throughout the years.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
