The Amazon also another good spot. Did you know there are 12 pyramids in the Amazon seen on satellite photos, but still not accessible to archeologists? Or that there are or were 26 cities scattered around the Amazon of indeterminate age? Check the NASA files of photographs.

Do you have any links/references to these pyramids or cities? I would love to read / research further.
