If money is not a issue Banyon Bay would be my choice,stayed there a week. Awesome pool,beatiful spacious rooms, Rico's Restarant on the water.
As far as the wave action, you will have to wait for a hurricane!!!

Thanks again everyone - I think I'm now literally going to have to just throw a dart!!! Sounds like everywhere is really nice, but I must say, Sophie's "choice" of Xanadu is leading me in that direction - the resort looks lovely and the mini-trip photos she put up on another thread were great to see. I really think my dart is going to land on Xanadu...... :p

But it is months away..... and both BBs look good, although I'm not particularly bowled over by Banyan Bay - looks too much like a hotel and a bit stark, but then they don't have many pictures to look at either, but can't imagine they're hiding the really good shots!
