We've decided we want to try some fishing this trip, but have not much of an idea what it's all about in this neck of the woods. We're creek/river fishers from Montana/Idaho/Washington area and would like suggestions as to what options are available from AC.

We've done some research on snorkeling, diving, socializing, etc. but not real sure on fishing. Tips from anyone?

My reality check bounced.

There are many good guides on the island. Picking one can depend on what type of fishing you want to do.Some of the guides like Nesto Gomez and Abby Marin specialize in fly/flats fishing for tarpon, bones, permit and snook. Others do all types.Whatever choice you make, you will have a good time. Mike, no redfish.

jd tremblay the guides/capts I use,run from sharks. we try to leave them alone... I have seen some big bull sharks, outside the reef ,we try not to hook them ,and if we hook them by mistake and can get them close to the boat we let them go....
