If this is a duplicate please forgive the error. Haven't been on board for a while. Think I messed up.Anyway,Question? Planing a post Iraq trip for our son after his return in January.Ther will be a group of dive fanatics and some non divers. Some just want to experience the wonderful culture and area of Ambergris Caye. The younger crowd, new to the family, are more up town and social. Would it be better to stay at an all inclusive? What do the social group do for entertainment and night life? We stayed at the Palm a few years back and fell in love with it but we really want to please everyone. We feel that once we get them there they will fall in love with the island just as we did. Would appreciate any suggestions. Divedoc

There are no true all inclusives on the island. The only beachfront one in Belize is Kanantik on the southern shore of the mainland for $365 per person per day. Some places will offer a meal plan or some tours but not truly all inclusive. Probably best to stay close to town for ease of nightlife, etc. The Palms would be a good choice again, right next door to Ramon's which is about the livliest resort on the island. Sunbreeze, Holiday Hotel, Blue Tang Inn, Mayan Princess may also work. Lots of choices but not all inclusive.

Great Dive Package Deal at The Tides, good breakfast included, Potojo's Dive Operation is there & is one of the oldest & best on the Island.
