Check out the home page top right corner. There are places accross from Ramon's. IMO for a month or 2 alot better$$$ wise.

Another place on the beach which gives high value for money is Spindrift, not far up the beach from Ruby's. The home of Caliente restaurant and the chicken drop competition. Some rooms with A/C, some just with fan. You may well find a fan sufficient in November. Run by very pleasant genuinely caring people.

Having stayed many times at Ruby's, it is cheap, clean and a great way to meet other travelers while you're down here.

although I agree with the "board police" that the comments were not made in a positive light....let's make sure we have the same set of rules for all parties. It would appear that it is fine for some people to be rude and mean....but not ok for others to make a rude comment.

I'm staying at rubys this december for a month but i'm staying there by myself (my friends are staying out of town and weren't originally coming with me...) but i chose ruby's based on the fact that i hear it's clean and a decent place to stay! Also for the fact that it's in town and on the beach!

You prob could save yourself some money by renting out a villa or casita for the month or two...
