I want to know if anyone on this message board has actually SEEN Bill Thornton. We just returned from AC, and we did a serious search for said person... no one has seen him. Asked Vicki, Butch, and Trisha = nope. (now keep in mind that Trisha has lived on the island for several years...) I even hooked up with Barry the artist from Missouri. He said "Bill's supposed to be here now, but..." He also said that everywhere he goes there are notes, "Bill was just here."
I think it must be a pseudonym. Maybe he's really Elvis? Everyone's heard of him... no one has seen him. hmmmmmmmm? Maybe he just doesn't want to be seen?
Didn't see any purple golf carts, either. Did see a purple house on the lagoon. Is this where he's hiding out?
The plot thickens...

KC, A misunderstanding when we met at Fidos. I was having a hard time 'hooking up' and I was getting those " Bill was here" notes, however, I DID spend a pleasant evening with the "phantom!" I am back in landlocked Midwest now and KC, I'll have your painting ready in 2 days or so. I'll email the "image" as we discussed.

Well, I guess I can really blackmail Bill now. I even have a picture of him sipping a watermelon milkshake at DD's Ice Box.
Bill does lurk around town without his purple golf cart, just to fool people. He says's he has a bicycle, but I've never seen him on one.
However, I have a stack of his books and a big fan he loaned me. I wonder what it's worth to him to get them back?????
