wow Malibu... depends on what you have to do and where it's at as far as where to stay... let me know. Plus get to 8th and Passyunk for a real cheesesteak... either Pat's or across the street at Geno's.

I'd definitely do Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell...

Denny, did you know that:

PHILADELPHIA, July 21 (AP) - Harry Olivieri, co-founder of the Pat's King of Steaks cheese steak emporium and generally credited with being the co-inventor of the Philly cheese steak, died on Thursday in Pomona, N.J. He was 90 and lived in Brigantine, N.J.

I bet I will live to 90 if I eat enough Cheese Whiz! and Tastycakes!

Malibu, there are tons of good Italian restaurants in Philadelphia...both South Philly and Center City....try Google or ask someone when you get there. There is also a great Cuban restaurant called Alma de Cuba...plus just about every other type of restaurant you can think of. Enjoy!

seachange... actually I had heard that. I am sure if I still lived in Philly, I would be making a trip to the Oliveri Funeral Home on Broad Street.

Just the mention of Brigantine brings back many good 'n hot memories of my first girlfriend.

Tastycakes! Si! Personally, I could never eat a cheesesteak with cheese whiz... it's straight american or provolone for me.

When Frank Palumbo was alive he had a GREAT restaurant around the corner from Palumbo's called Nostalgia. It was a 2nd home to me.

And you're a lawyer to boot? We have many in the legal profession here as you might have noticed. Firm? eek

Ralph's in South Philly is always good. I also like Panorama (good food and wine bar). I would suggest the Hyatt @ Penns Landing, Sheraton Society Hill...you can walk to many fun spots. If you want to be closer to the city center, try the Latham Hotel or Sofitel. They are by Rittenhouse Square which means lots of restaurants and shopping. Good luck.
