I'm going to have my annivesary while I'm down there this month (my wife will be there too!). Any thoughts for a killer dining experience... Anything really high-end and ridiculously expensive??

How thoughtful to bring your wife along on your anniversary. smile

Casa Picasso, hands down. You can find more expensive food, but not better tasting or better presentation.

My second choice would be Victoria House - really good food and a fantastic view - service is impeccable.

Definately Rojo or Portofino. Both have lovely views of the sea too.

Or you can hire a private chef that will prepare and cook in your room and you could do a private set up on your veranda outside your room or a private area on the beach.

Thanks for all the good input. Consistent answers from people in the know are definitely helpful.

We're actually staying at Casa Rendondo Villa (down south)with a large group of friends, and are bringing in a private chef (David Hayum) for a few of the nights. Should he have the "health certificate" I've heard mentioned?

I would assume he would need a health certificate since he is working as a chef, just in a different kind of kitchen.

My romantic dinner vote is for Rojo also, but if the weather is unfavorable, Casa Picasso would be the best choice. It is indoors, closest to where you are staying and has good food and atmosphere.

Casa Picaso would be my # 1 pick also, of those mentioned I've also been to Capricorn which I liked alot. One not mentioned is the Rendezuous Restarant & Winery, it only has 24 seats & is definately worth a visit.
