Academic Treks

Academic and service adventure division of Broadreach

Ages 15-19|College-accredited summer adventures abroad for teenagers ages 15-19. Programs combine hands-on learning, community service, cultural exploration and adventure travel. Academic Treks participants study marine science, Spanish language or cultural studies in a real-world setting, gaining a global perspective and hands-on understanding of the topics studied. The service work on each course complements the program focus and ranges from 15-55 hours depending on the program. very cool. My last year of college I did a similar program in Costa Rica 5 weeks when I was 19. I really think this is an excellent opportunity and life experience. For any of you with kids who have any interest, send them.
