L&T - Yes -that's her! Shopping, in my experience with the credit card bills, is one of her particular skills and as for lunches - well - what can I say - she is in France currently, probably having lunch as I write - I however am in London working to pay for lunch!!

Can I come for lunch next time? Hopefully will be out in AC in December for a few days.

The book exchange is a great idea. I can't go a day without reading. Thank goodness I like to read just about anything- except science fiction. I have been hitting the used book stores and yard sales to stock up. And we aren't coming til next year. I will have a couple of years worth by then and I will gladly pass them on when I am done.

I had just been thinking about having a book exchange. We never seem to bring enough.

We frequently just clean out our bookshelves and bring them to B.C.'s in the evening and everyone helps themselves. Some people on the island have had pretty good success with shipping from Amazon. I usually order alot from Amazon Half Price when we are in the States and bring them down. Amazing the variety we get , everything from the classics to the bodice rippers.
