Where can I take my little monster to wash the dust and grime off it? I rent where I live, and I cannot wash it at my place. I used to carry a towel to wipe it down with, but if I leave it on my cart someone will invariably steal it. Is there any place here on the island where one can just pull up and wash down?

Someone (you?) needs to start a bikini cart wash. Lots of carts need a wash every week.
There are people who offer to power wash your cart but be careful. A power washer in the wrong hands can do alot of damage!

I need a wash! Take a right at Marina's Store (heading south) and you'll see Chris' mechanic shop, they do power washing and oil bath and stuff.

Check out my site:

I let them power wash my cart and they removed much of the paint and one of the expensive custom signs on one side of the cart. Thanks a lot!

Marina's Store is right around the corner from where I am moving to this week. Perfect. But ya, a power washer can do alot of damage, I prefer to have just a hose and soapy sponge.
Jesse, I would start a bikini wash, but would hire young hotties to wear the uniform, lol. I was actually thinking about that a few months ago....but more of an automated place where you spray off your own cart, with a brush or sponge and just have a coin machine to accept the monies. It could be making it's own living 24/7 with little or no real work load on the owner. Hire a night time watchman and you are set. It saves on manpower and sunblock, lol.

My vote goes to Mathias (and crew) behind Pedro's Inn. You get a free Spanish lesson with each wash smile. He is also a great mechanic and if he breaks anything in the course of washing, he will fix it... I've never had a problem with power washing, what are you folks referring to? In my opinion, washing the exterior of your cart is about 10% of the job. Getting the crud out from underneath and oil bathing is what its all about.

Right, but you don't need all that every week. A simple wash a week with the complete power wash/oil bath once a month is a reasonable program.

Francisco does a good wash. I've tried others and have had problems with quality of service and broken plastic parts on the cart, including doubling the size of the crack on the windsheild.
