I need to know if there is a website that someone can give me a link to for obtaining work permits and business permits. I plan on moving my family down by boat and starting an affordable tutoring service for kids in Caye Caulker. Will I need to wait the 6 months to work? Is it a possibility to do bartering for my services in the mean time before I'm able to get the permits?

You put in for the work permit when you get here, it can take 2-6 months.

You tell them what kind of work and that goes on the work permit and that is the only work you can do.

On my wife it said cook and on mine it said manager.

If you have no work permit you can not work, even for free
