Hello all! Everyone is so informative on this message board! I am so impressed!
I was wondering if internet connection was provided via DSL lines on Ambergris Caye?
If yes, how much is it to get a DSL line?
If no, what is the process in getting connected to the Internet?
Another worry I have is if I bring a laptop, are the electrical problems on AC a real threat in ruining my computer? Any help on this matter would be great. I am planning to move there in September, as I will start school there.

Since completion of the new power system our electrical supply has been much better. And when you're operating your laptop it's got the battery in between the computer and BEL...acting as a buffer.
