Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and a first time visitor to Ambergris Caye and am looking for info. on a good tour operator. I'll be in AC the week of July 16th with 7 other adults who are interest in 1/2 day of fishing, as well as zip line canopy/cave tubing, and snorkeling tours. Does anyone have suggestions/experiences with reputable tour operators? Oh, we'll be staying at Journey's End.....so exicited!!!!! wink

Your concierge at the hotel will probably be the best advisor. Since your tours will originate and terminate at the resort he/she will possibly even be able to set-up private tours for your group. Sounds like you will need at least 2 boats for fishing though.

Have a great trip.

Be sure to confirm you can cave tube, with all these rains you might need to substitute another activity.

As far as snorkeling I will vote for Lil' Alfonse. We had a great time!

Thanks for the info everyone. We went with Seaduced for our Zip Line and caving tour! They were AWESOME! I highly recommend requesting Leon. He was very informative, personable, and entertaining. He was easy to understand and made you feel extemely welcome. We also used Searious for one of our snorkeling tours. Beautiful catamaran, great food, and good company. Our captain and tour guide was named Willie. Not sure, but I think he owned the company. We used Discovery Expeditions for our SNuba tour. First time for us to SNuba and it was a blast. The tour operators weren't as great as Seaduced, but we still had a wonderful time.

We stayed at Journey's End and were very comfortable in our Lagoon Suite. Nice resort, nice folks. We rented golf carts and while it was a long and somewhat bumpy ride to/from town, I'm so glad we rented them. Saved us $$ on water taxis and gave us more freedom. There were 7 of us on our trip, so it all worked out well. No one got hurt or seriously sick, we all got to do what we wanted to do, and we all have some wonderful memories and pictures from our trip!
