There was an artist on the island for a long time that seems to have disappeared. He created some very fine pen and ink depictions of the old San Pedro. Real classic drawings of the old police station and Tons of other priceless memories. Anyone out there know how to get copies of his work?

Yes, Iguana Jack.

He is in the US at the moment, but his kids are still here.

We picked up a beautiful iguana vase from his shop over by the library in, oh, must have been 2000. the next trip the shop was gone, but his stuff was in a shop over on middle street somewhere. I remember vividly a fantastic drawing of Paisano hanging in there, but it was way expensive.

Cal and I recently found Iguana Jack's prints of the tackle box, Ramon Badillo's glass bottom boat and a lobster boat sitting on the beach waiting for the "season" to come in. We just had them framed at Isla Bonita frame shop - and we love them.
