Hi Suecate,
I think yu'll find that photography makes you a better diver. You quit worrying about your bouyancy and other details and start looking for subjects. There are some great photo opportunities in Belize, both topside and underwater.
When will you be on island? I will be in San Pedro Town the first few days of December. I can't certify you, but I can help you develop your eye. Photography is all about vision, which means that you have to develop your ability to find subjects. That's what makes photography unique, you have to find subjects. If you're a painter, for example, you can say "I'll just add a tree right here and make the sky a little more dramatic". In photography, you have to have an eye for the subjects that are actually there. There's very little "artistic license" to edit your subject. It has to be there.
Anyway, if you're going to be around, that's cool. I'll be staying at Changes in Lattitude Sunday-Monday December 3 & 4. I'm hoping to meet Harriet and maybe have some barbeque at BC's on Sunday. Maybe I'll see you there.
