OK kids. It's official...The 2008 Message Board Poker Championship is going to be held on Sunday,February 24th, 2008 at Pedro's Inn. This event will be a $100usd buy-in with half going to the pot and half going to benefit the San Pedro Town Library and the San Pedro Clean up efforts.
The winner will recieve the "Reaper Cup"..if we can FIND IT!!!!!
The 2007 game was great fun and I hope to see many of you there again next year!
Cocktails will be at 6pm, the cards get shuffled up and dealt at 7pm!

I'll plan on being there. Peter sounded like he thought there'd be a load of people in this one, even compared to last year.

I won't be in attendance this year, so wallet holding duties are wide open!

Two answers to questions I have been asked...
1. I felt the town library and Tammi's clean up efforts would be a good recipient of funds.

2. I have no clue who swiped the "Reaper Cup" or where it is being held captive. I am offering a rum punch or Belikin as a reward for it's safe return to Pedro's.

I heard that there are pictures of the trophy being "removed" from the premises shortly after the end of the tournament.......

I won't be able to make it due to the fact SOMEONE has every room booked at a certain hotel that I want to stay... sniff... just pass the winnings to me. I'll need the $$ to help console my sadness... :P
